Here is your invitation to the vernissage |
'CRYPTIC 42' is my solo exhibition which explores episodes from a creative journey which spans 42 years, 1982 – 2024. Many of the sculptures on show are suspended as if floating in free space. As an artform the medium is extraordinary in that it wants to exist independently of internal or external structure or support in order to work as a visual language to its fullest potential. It is precisely for this reason that as an artist I have spent more than 42 years attempting to avoid gravity. With this in mind hopefully the exhibition speaks for itself. The Crypt Gallery of St Pancras Parish Church (www.cryptgallery.org) is located in Euston and is one of London’s most unique & atmospheric exhibition spaces. |

The opening event will include an exclusive presentation and book launch of

"Doing justice to David’s work in a day is a challenge; embracing the spirit of his studio and the eclectic environment that surrounds him is a challenge; articulating three dimensions in two is a challenge; but being given the opportunity is a privilege. We genuinely hope that the book conjures a little of the spirit and passion of his remarkable work” Andrew Derrick |
This is my current solo exhibition in celebration of the Milano Fashion week in the beautiful showrooms of LDR22 Art Glance III, Via Manin 13, Milan, Italy. Thanks to Lucio Di Rosa, celebrity matchmaker and art collector, who pairs fashion brands, entertainment and contemporary art for the fabulously glitzy fun vernissage - wow - Italian style at its best! RSVP is mandatory to visit the exhibition. To arrange your visit, please rsvp:

"I have been following David Begbie for years, and I welcomed Jessica Tanghetti's proposal to host him and his works within the LDR22 Art Glance format with great enthusiasm. David's vision, particularly the use of the metallic mesh to crate human bodies generates a unique contrast that fascinates me. It is a true honour to host the artist and his works, which are both majestic and ethereal, within our Milan's home." Lucio di Rosa |
